The silicone Bubble Swim hat has been designed with open water swimmers in mind. The bubble design allows an added layer of insulation and the silicone material allows extra stretch for larger heads or lots of hair.

Brilliant hat - especially for open water!

Bought this hat after seeing an advert selling it as warmer than most swim hats & I’d been struggling with headaches whilst open water swimming early in the season (April/May) due to the cold water temperature.

It is definitely warmer but it’s also really big (which I prefer) so I can wear it over other swim hats too & pull it down low over my ears.

Have recently swam Lake Windermere & wore this hat to avoid any pressure headaches from wearing one that was too tight, for so long. After 8 hours of swimming it was still barely noticeable, no headaches & still exactly where I had put it 10.5 miles earlier! Highly recommend!

Keeps very long hair dry & untangled

Great hat. I’ve got about a dozen in all. Lake swimming daily & my very long hair was suffering from the drag of other hats but this is super comfy and well worth buying

Unique product & excellent fit

I have this bubble hat in yellow. I love it because it’s such a great fit. For cold winter swims I wear a thick neoprene hat underneath a high-vis hat. The bubble hats are an excellent quality material, comfortable, strong and stretchy. The extra level of warmth really helps me stay out for longer too!
